Strong's Book of Designs by C. J. Strong (1917) features Art Nouveau design elements, including distinctive lettering and decorative illustrations for use in advertising. There are numerous black and white and full-color images of sample posters and advertising show cards. There are also examples of stencil designs augmented by airbrushing, and several beautiful alphabets are included. The following images are some of my favorite examples from this interesting and inspiring book.
